One morning during my visit to Budapest I was shocked to come across a yoga class that encapsulated the entire Liberty Bridge. It turns out that the bridge had been closed off to traffic for the weekend and the citizens like to make the most of this each time it happens. Below are some pictures of pedestrians relaxing and enjoying their city on a sunny weekend.

These are a couple of portraits I took many years ago but still mean a lot to me today. The first was taken after Julius had gotten into a fight late one night and I was attempting to sober him up with teas and talking. The second was taken a few weeks later when I asked to borrow Julius’ clippers so I could help Laurie with her new haircut. I think both of these portraits are gentle and true to each of their characters, which is why I’m still proud of them.

I had a good time getting shots of these guys during their first night performing as a band. I’m most pleased with the individual portraits I got after the gig, especially since I managed to find a unique setting for each boy within such a small space. I don’t have any plans to shoot them again soon but I might find myself at a gig of theirs anyway.
